The Nevada Association for Career and Technical Education (NACTE) is an association of individuals who are involved in education, business and industry, commerce, and government:
- To serve as a framework for professional development and career enrichment in the field of education;
- To unite related state and national units and other organizations dedicated to improving education and strengthening linkages;
- To promote and maintain active leadership in occupational, career and academic education;
- To provide services to members of the association.
Membership Dues:
NACTE membership is open to all persons involved to education, business and industry, commerce and government.
Professional Development:
An annual conference for professional development is held each year in various places throughout the state. The annual meeting includes reports from the NACTE Executive Board and other committees, new and impending issues, and strategic planning. In addition, seminars and workshops are also offered each year on career and technical education matters including administration, guidance and counseling, special needs and emerging social issues that affect education. NACTE is committed to supporting and promoting ideas, methods, innovations, and curriculum that help educators achieve excellence.
